In this sermon the big question is: Was Jesus to be seen in the writings and events of the Old Testament? To answer that question we must first take a step back and examine what is revelation.
In the end, we will discover that we can know God, not just by “being aware” or by “knowing about” or by “experiencing God,” but by being made alive by God—by being born again—and being brought into a relationship with God. This relationship is possible not because we seek God first but because he seeks us first and reveals himself to us in Jesus.
