Have you ever said “you’ll reap what you sow?” The apostle Paul says that God is not mocked – we will reap what we sow.
We only have two options – sowing to our flesh or sowing to the Spirit. Our predisposition is to serve ourselves. To sow, to live at the bidding of what the Bible refers to as our “flesh”. As new creations in Christ, we are empowered by the presence of the Holy Spirit to sow, to live at the bidding of the spirit, to invest and nurture the things of the kingdom of heaven.
