Did you know that often as Preachers, we return to the same passage?  There are verses in the scriptures that are so moving to us that often we return to the same passage – not out of a lack of other passages or a lack of diligence to study the word – but instead we return out of awe and appreciation.  The same way we’d return to a favorite song or album and always find it alive and invigorating we preach out of a passage we’ve preached from before.  Pastor Bill returns to a passage in the gospel according to Mark – a moment when a small gesture communicates clearly the great love and power of God.
