The book of Hebrews celebrates the faith of Joseph. If you’re familiar with Joseph’s life that likely doesn’t surprise you. He trusted God even when sold into slavery by his own brothers. He walked in obedience in the face of great temptation. But Hebrews doesn’t mention those things. Instead, it says, “By faith Joseph, at the end of his life, made mention of the exodus of the Israelites and gave directions concerning his bones.”
