In Christ everyone of us is “born again” made brand new.  Part of what that means is that God gives us gifts!  New attributes, new abilities, new desires.  Imagine yourself as a child on Christmas morning with God as your Father, standing beside a tree surrounded by gifts.  Are you excited? Have you already opened the gifts?  Have you thanked God for his amazing generosity?  Are you learning to use the gifts?
