In the gospel of Mark, the Pharisees tell Jesus that his disciples are breaking the law of the “sabbath”, the day of rest.  In answering them, Jesus teaches that the sabbath was “made for man not man for the sabbath.”  It was a liberation from our toils and a freedom to rest in God’s care.  A day given to mankind as a blessing.  Sadly, it is a blessing we often reject as simply impossible.  We can look at all the things in life that need to be done and the idea of stopping all our efforts for an entire day seems crazy to us!  Beloved, you need to rest.  Your loved ones need sabbath rest.  Please join us as Krathi shares a word on the amazing promise of rest that God gives to us in Jesus Christ.
