Joy in the Spirit
Out the abundance of heart mouth speaks, says the Bible and the fullness of the spirit of Christ and His joy will be revealed through us as a sign of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit
The Nature of Faith
We are saved by Grace, through faith in Christ Jesus. We received righteousness by Him and though Him while we were still sinners. It is not because of our works but His work on the cross, trust in Christ alone!!!
I cannot come down
We cannot come down as we're doing a great work for God. We're doing great work not because we are great, but God is great, we're doing great work not because we can but we are called to do great work.
Be Immersed in the Holy Spirit
Be Immersed (baptized) in the Holy Spirit and Encounter Jesus Christ!! Mike Webster preached as sermon on the importance of a life in the Holy Spirit and the power of Living Christ
It is Finished
We often consider a person’s last words as carrying weight that other words do not. What would you wish to say if you knew your time on earth was short? What message would you share?
For this new chapter let us not receive the grace of God in vain
FROM THE FOUNDING in 1968 to this new beginning in 2026, ‘the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.’
Inheritance and Heritage
Most of us hope to leave an inheritance for our children or grandchildren. But beyond an inheritance, that is, the material things, we each will leave behind a heritage.
Don’t Receive God’s Grace in Vain
Grace is something you can’t earn. By definition, we can’t deserve it. Yet, grace, undeserved favor, demands a response from those who receive it. What does God demand of us as a response?
When God Hides Your Shoes
Join us as we listen to Ps. Jonathan preach this sermon called “When God Hides your Shoes”
The Dwelling of Jesus
We are temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 6:19), with Him dwelling in us, we should be praising Him with everything inside of us, individually and corporately and make Him known to the ends of the earth.
The Sword of The Spirit
Christ has won the victory and delivered us from the “domain of darkness” but we still must fight against that defeated enemy. How do we prepare ourselves for this battle?
Rerouting // The Dangers of a Customized God
Imagine you’re driving to a destination you’ve never visited. You open your GPS, but instead of letting it guide you, you start customizing the route.
“Has anyone ever told you you were an answer to prayer?“
“Has anyone ever told you you were an answer to prayer?” He laughed and said, “Well, that’s a first!”
The Barbell of Faith
All that we possess really belongs to God. For some that is a simple statement of truth. For others it is a radical shift in viewpoint! All our money, all our resources and possessions, even our family truly belong to God. He has given them to us for a time.
Treasures of Old and New
In the heat of the moment we can lose sight of the “why” in favor of what works. We can become disconnected from the true purpose God has for us – to love him with our whole heart, mind and strength and love our neighbors as ourselves.
If you do not keep moving, you will stop moving
My daughter, Emagine, suffered third degree burns over 50% of her body when she was two years old. This scarring presents Emme with an ongoing battle. She must keep moving or she will stop moving
Sourdough, The Daily Grind and Our Legacy
The Legacy that we leave behind is just not the bright lights and fireworks but also the mistakes – there is life in everything – in sourdough starter and even the air that we breathe – it had different value and worth and every life must be surrendered at the feet of Christ.
Stop. Wait. Go.
In the gospel of Mark, the Pharisees tell Jesus that his disciples are breaking the law of the “sabbath”, the day of rest. In answering them, Jesus teaches that the sabbath was “made for man not man for the sabbath.” It was a liberation from our toils and a freedom to rest in God’s care.
Against the Flow
Christ’s call to follow him is a radical one. But obedience to Jesus flies in the face of typical human thinking. It’s a world defying, uncommon leap into more truth that we have been brought up with.
Our Father // The Disciples Prayer (Part 2)
In the prayer Jesus teaches to the disciples in Matthew chapter 6, we see a breathtaking range of God’s knowledge and care detailing the divine will of God being completed on earth and in the heavens down to the daily need for our food.
